This vital and transportive force felt when observing these artefacts and sites informs Barrios’ life-affirming outlooks, which are held strong despite witnessing atrocities during the decade-long Salvadorian civil war.Creating art is a reflexive and indispensable element of living itself for Barrios. Through a heartfelt display, Barrios hopes to share this transformative capacity of art and life.An opening event will be held on Friday 13 February, 6 – 8pm with Carlos Barrios in attendance.**All events are free, RSVPs not required.Mitchell Fine Art is open 6 days a week; Mon - Fri 10:00am - 5:30pm, Sat 10:00am - 5:00pm, with onsite parking available.
